2. Privacy Statement

I do not share your personal information with third parties. The Flashpacker website does not store any information about your visits other than the security cookie necessary for the site’s functionality.

Google analytics does collect demographic data such as age, gender, the device you are using and which country you are based in. This information is never sold and is only used for me to ensure the content within my website reflects my audience.

3. Email data

Who holds your data?

I use a company called MailChimp to manage my email list and to automatically send out my newsletters. Your data are held by MailChimp and not by The Flashpacker.  By signing up to my email list, you consent to me passing your data to MailChimp.  Your data may be held outside the European Union.

What do I do with your data?

Your email address is only used for sending my newsletters.I do not share your personal information with third parties.

What data do I hold?

The only data I hold is your email address + / – your name.   You may add or remove your name to your record by clicking ‘update your preferences’ at the bottom of every email.

What usage data is collected?

MailChimp tracks how many of my emails you open and whether you click on any links.  I use these data only to identify and delete accounts which are no longer active.

How can you unsubscribe?

Should you change your mind at any time, you are welcome to unsubscribe. You can do this by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe from this list’ link at the bottom of each email.

Whilst all information on this website is accurate to my best knowledge at the time of publication, inevitably things change over time. Therefore, I cannot guarantee that this information including prices and opening times in my articles, will remain correct. You should always check these things in advance of your trip.
